My client who are a global organisation are looking to recruit a machining specialist to be based in Ghana. The role is to safely and fully utilise the equipment installed in the CRC machine shop providing high quality low cost salvage capability to the component rebuild cycle carrying out machining operations to a high level of accuracy.
Understanding and developing CAD drawings for machining work Setting up and operating gap bed lathes with three, four jaw chucks and face plates Use manual and auto feed for turning and boring Setting up and using screw cutting Manufacturing, cutting and mounting tools Carrying out finish grinding using a tool post grinder Using multi-purpose horizontal borer Mounting jobs on milling and Rottler machines Understanding salvage operations Setting up mobile boring equipment Using radial drill You must have several years experience of technical operations with knowledge of CNC set up and operation with a proficiency at calculating feeds and speeds and screw cutting. A knowledge of CAD (solid works) would be an advantage.
The role is a rotational role, 10 weeks on and 3 weeks off with all flights and accommodation included.
