My client a global leader in renewable energy are looking for a head of planning and scheduling. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business. This role with be based in Bath.
You will lead the Planning function within the Operations & Maintenance business unit, ensuring all the service and reporting requirements for each customer are met through safe, timely and efficient deployment of resources and spares.
You will also:
Own the annual Planned Maintenance plans for each customer and each site (E,M&I and Grounds Maintenance, drone thermography surveys etc.), ensuring they are updated routinely to reflect asset performance and condition through the operational life of each asset type. Engaging with each customer to ensure the annual plans and proposed changes are signed off before the start of the performance year, with any impact on contract costs fully agreed. Build and maintain pro-active relationships with each customer and internal stakeholders. Engaging pro-actively with the engineering and regional teams to ensure annual plans and individual job times / specific tasks are up to date and reflect the agreed maintenance requirements. Lead the planning team to create a positive continuous improvement culture through engaging across the team to utilise all skills, data driven interventions and clear development plans Interfacing with the Service Delivery Director and Regional Managers to agree a routine field resource availability plan to enable weekly schedules to be built efficiently and effectively You must have:
High level of understanding of contracts and service level agreements Experience of planning & scheduling activities within a fast-changing environment Knowledge of procurement procedures. General Skills/Attributes

Background in O&M planning management. Experience of leading a team is essential – to create the right continuous improvement and development environment Customer engagement & management is key Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Experience in the use of CMMS to input data, research parts, schedule maintenance, and extract reports. Education and Qualifications
