Are you an experienced professional with a passion for quality control and staff development? We are looking for a dedicated Quality Control Supervisor to join our team and drive excellence in our Component Rebuild Center (CRC).
About the Role:
As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all work adheres to correct processes, procedures, and standards. You will mentor engineers, conduct hands-on training, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and quality. Your leadership will contribute to developing a high-performing team and maintaining world-class standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify training opportunities and develop staff competence through hands-on training and mentoring.
- Ensure all work meets company and industry quality standards, including Caterpillar certification.
- Drive Continuous Product Improvement (CPS) initiatives to optimize service operations.
- Implement strict adherence to rebuild policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain best practices documentation and identify areas for process improvement.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure prompt resolution of technical inquiries and complaints.
- Work closely with internal teams, including HR, finance, IT, and product support, to streamline operations.
- Ensure all safety regulations and policies are fully complied with.
- Identify and develop new service revenue opportunities.
- Supervise a team of up to 30 direct reports, providing leadership and performance management.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in customer service and service operations, with a strong background in quality control.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, leadership, coaching, conflict management, and performance evaluation.
- Language: Fluent in English..
