Are you an experienced heavy plant engineer? Are you looking to work abroad but still be able to come home regularly? Are you experienced on working on Caterpillar equipment? My client who are specialists in heavy plant and mining equipment are looking to recruit several service engineers to work in various mining sites in different countries in Africa.

Duties include:

• To provide support to the maintenance and repair contract running the Caterpillar equipment
• Ensuring job assessments are carried out
• Lead teams of local employees
• Carry out repairs and rebuild work
• Repair of mobile plant including engines, transmissions systems, hydraulics and electronic systems

You must have:

• At least three years experience in servicing equipment
• Knowledge of engine, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes and electrical systems
• In depth knowledge of caterpillar machine systems
• Experience of working on Caterpillar equipment in a dealership environment- This is essential
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Be computer literate
• Safety trained

These roles are on a 10/3 rotation, all flights and accommodation are included.
